Canadian pop superstar The Weeknd is coming to Vancouver as part of the 2025 After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour.

Launching in Phoenix on May 9, the Canadian leg of the tour begins at B.C. Place in Vancouver on July 15 before heading across Canada. The tour winds down at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX., on Sept. 3.
This will mark the second time that the singer, born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, has played B.C. Place. The highly influential pop songwriter has won most major music industry accolades, including 22 Juno Awards, four Grammy Awards and even a Latin Grammy.
The artist’s reach goes beyond music with his nominations for both an Academy award for his song Earned It being featured in 2015s Fifty Shades of Grey and a Primetime Emmy Award for his 2021 Super Bowl Halftime performance.?The Toronto-based musician has also starred in the HBO series the Idol which ran for one season.
The Weeknd has released six full-length albums with Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified sales of 20.5 million. His latest single is titled the Abyss and his new album Hurry Up Tomorrow was released on Jan. 31, 2025.
This is rumoured to be the musician’s final release under The Weeknd name.

When is The Weeknd coming to Vancouver?
The Weeknd will play at B.C. Place on Tuesday, July 15. This is the first Canadian date on the tour. This will be followed by a show at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton on July 19, Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal on July 24 and a pair of performances at Rogers Centre in Toronto on July 27 and 28.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. at livenation.com or at theweeknd.com.
When was the last time The Weeknd played Vancouver?
The Weeknd sold out B.C. Place on Aug. 23, 2022. Vancouver Sun music reporter Stuart Derdeyn reviewed the show which he described as ‘lavish.’
“The Toronto singer’s mix of futuristic R&B, pure new wave and dance pop has completely captured contemporary music at the moment and last night the artist born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye showed off his Grammy winning live chops to an adoring audience,” wrote Derdeyn, noting the great stage production, which included “a stylized Toronto complete with a flashing CN Tower lights up and The Weeknd appears hovering over it all. Twenty one red-robed figures solemnly file out onto the long stage promenade and the gig gets going. Wearing a mask and his signature black Mac coat and gloves, he gets down to business. Sacrifice follows and the party is on. Great sound mix.”.
